Hey everyone. Shane here with etrailer.com. Today I have a 2022 Jayco Emblem Motorhome, I'm gonna walk through how to install the Timbren rear suspension enhancement system. Now, what are some of the reasons we want to increase our suspension or upgrade our suspension If you ever been in a Motorhome at all, you get a cross wind, vehicle passing you, you get a lot of body roll. Adding suspension enhancement on top of putting a rear sway bar, front sway bar, and steering stabilizer on, suspension enhancement is gonna help support your suspension up, and make your ride a little bit more comfortable when you're going down the road, maybe you're making sharp turns or you have to make a quick maneuver. It's not gonna allow your vehicle to lean as much. more

Hi there Jayco owners. Today in your 2018 Jayco Greyhawk, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install SumoSprings for the front axle. And this is what our SumoSprings look like when they're installed. They are a direct replacement for your factory jounce bumpers but they're considerably larger and they'll provide contact much sooner than what your factory jounce bumper would. We've currently got the vehicle lifted up in the air so we do have a bit of a gap here. That's just so we can get under here and be able to take a look at these a little bit better. more

Today on our 2018 Jayco Alante, we're going to be taking a look at the SumoSprings helper springs for the front axle.Here at etrailer.com we get a lot of questions about motor homes, specifically about suspension upgrades. Because let's face it, whether you're new to it or you've been driving a motor home for a while, we all notice real quickly that they're extremely top heavy, and there's a lot of area for the wind to catch, which means our motor home's going to get pushed around. Whether we're driving down the highway and a truck passes us or there's a big gust of wind, we end up sitting there fighting the steering wheel, getting pushed around, not to mention everybody in the back's not having that good a time because they're getting pushed around as well.So before we put any suspension components on our motor home, let's take it on our test course and see how it handles.As I come up to the slalom course, I'm going in and out of turns, I can definitely feel a lot of body roll. As soon as I go into the turn, it really feels like the motor home wants to lean really hard before it even actually turns.Now that we have our suspension components installed, let's take our motor home back out on the test course and see how it improved the ride.As I come up to the slalom course, I can immediately feel a big difference. Don't get me wrong, there's still a little bit of a sway to it, but it's a lot more controlled and it is diminished a lot. I feel a lot more in control of the motor home, and it genuinely feels a lot smaller than it really is.Here's what our SumoSprings are going to look like once we have them installed. more

Today on our 2018 Jayco Alante, we're going to be taking a look at the SumoSprings Helper Springs for the rear axle. Here at etrailer.com, we get a lot of questions about motor homes, specifically about the suspension upgrades because let's face it, whether you're new at driving a motor home, or you've been doing it for a while, there's a lot of space for that air to catch. We end up getting pushed around. Not to mention when we're driving, if we do make a turn, or we had to go around a curve really tight, we get a really mushy body rolling feeling where we don't feel that secure. Not to mention everybody in the back's getting tossed around, things are falling off the shelf. It's not an enjoyable thing. more

Now here at etrailer.com, we get a lot of questions about motor homes, specifically about suspension upgrades. Because let's face it. We have a lot of area for the wind to catch when we're driving down the road, which can cause a lot of pushing and swaying, and then we end up fighting that steering wheel, which in turn makes our ride and our trip not that comfortable and not that enjoyable, not to mention everybody in the back is going to be getting pushed around. Now here at etrailer we get a lot of questions about motor homes, specifically about the suspension, because let's face it, whether you're new or you've been driving a motorhome for a long time, they don't handle the best, because they are pretty top heavy. And we have a lot of area here to catch wind, which means that we're going to be able to be pushed around a lot easier than we'd like. We're driving down the highway, a big gust of wind comes, a truck drives by or anything like that, we're going to end up getting pushed to the side and then fight the steering wheel, which by the time we get where we're going, we're going to be pretty tired.Not to mention everybody in the back, things getting tossed around, just not an enjoyable experience. We want to feel more in control and more stable when we're driving down the road. more
